Aussie Trip to Thailand

I recently returned from Thailand where i coached the Aussie Women's Volleyball Team at Asian Seniors. We ended up 8th without actually winning a game as a result of a team withdrawal or forfeit. it allowed us to play all the top 8 teams - China, Korea, Japan, Kazakhstan, Thailand etc. was an awesome experience for the girls to play against players of that calibre. You may think that there are not any tall Asians - but let me tell you - THERE ARE!! Some very big units. The girls held their own and it was a good start to rebuilding the culture of the team.

Our 8th place has earned us a place in another tournament next year where we get to have another crack! The girls are psyched and ready to work hard - so it will be exciting.

Fred - Large and Filthy

This is the larger version of Freddy.. We really are in a drought up here - there is NO grass left.. but he loves the dirt!

Fred is a GIANT!

Fred is no longer the little puppy you see here... picture just as cute, just as yellow but 31kgs! He has of late been visited by the Dog Whisperer and things are going smoothly! He would like a road trip to Sydney sometime this year - He misses Sydney Park!
